Windows 2003 Server Expiration is on July 14, 2015!
Microsoft will be officially ending support for Windows Server 2003 in July. With the proliferation of security exploits on the internet today, you may not want to take any unnecessary risks with your organizations technology. Company’s that go beyond the termination of extended support expose their organizations to security risks and potentially a regulatory noncompliance situation.
What does this mean for you?
It means that if you continue to run the Windows Server 2003 operating system beyond July 14th, you will most certainly be at a higher risk for viruses, malware Trojans and all the exploits that should be avoided. This increased risk is due to Microsoft no longer researching and repairing security holes that are known to allow for infections to take place.
